A graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in writing, Anthony started his writing career with a poem and short story in Many Waters, a State University of New York publication, in 2007. In 2008 and 2009, he wrote two stage plays that were produced and performed in New York.
After forming a band in 2009 and touring and recording through 2013, Anthony became the resident poet for the Corn Hill Gazette, writing a series of poems about the historic Corn Hill area of Rochester, New York in 2014.
From 2015 through 2017, Anthony was a contributor for The Versed (formerly ClickOn Sports) commenting on the cultural aspects of sports. In 2018, a collection of his poems titled “A Livestock of Words” was published with a corresponding spoken word album.
When he’s not working, you can find him fishing, listening to The Replacements, and talking about John Candy movies. Sometimes all at the same time.
Anthony Norman White is a writer living in New York with Ruthie and Pi.
