A graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in writing, Anthony started his writing career with a poem and short story in Many Waters, a State University of New York publication, in 2007. In 2008 and 2009, he wrote two stage plays that were produced and performed in New York.
After forming a band in 2009 and touring and recording through 2013, Anthony became the resident poet for the Corn Hill Gazette, writing a series of poems about the historic Corn Hill area of Rochester, New York in 2014.
From 2015 through 2017, Anthony was a contributor for The Versed (formerly ClickOn Sports) commenting on the cultural aspects of sports. In 2018, a collection of his poems titled “A Livestock of Words” was published with a corresponding spoken word album.
From 2019 to 2021, Anthony was a writer and reviewer for Floated Magazine.
Anthony is currently a contributor with The Good Men Project.
In the summer of 2020, Anthony and his family drove across the country and relocated to the Pacific Northwest. He is currently working on a new novel and a new music project.
When he’s not working, you can find him fishing, listening to The Replacements, and talking about John Candy movies. Sometimes all at the same time.
